Juventus have confirmed they will open a new wine shop in the city’s former shopping centre, in a project that has attracted attention from around the world.
The team’s owner, Giovanni Capra, will open the first of two wine and cider bars in the centre of town in a new project.
The news was first reported by La Repubblica.
The team’s chief executive, Roberto Mancini, is the managing director of a wine company.
The announcement came as the Italian FA announced a new two-year plan to increase its presence in Europe.
The organisation plans to increase the number of players in Europe from the current two-to-three by 30 per cent, while expanding its youth development programme.
